I am an experienced leader in public health having worked in both government and non-government organisations over the length of my career.As a senior executive, I have managed highly skilled and experienced teams, overseen successful state and national public health programs and been a regular media commentator on chronic disease prevention and women's health.I am adept at stakeholder management, policy development, public health advocacy and complex issue management. A major focus of my career has been working towards improvements in public health. This has been demonstrated in the areas of tobacco control, public health nutrition, primary prevention and women's health.Many of my senior roles have focused on advancing the various policy, research and advocacy agendas associated with improving the cardiovascular health of all Australians.More recently my focus has been on diversity and inclusion and how this can be addressed through policy initiatives in the workplace.
