As Senior Frontend Engineer I helped get Vinovest core products of wine collections, marketplace, wine directory, and stock trading platforms off the ground. I was able to make some early decisions about the tech stack and received buy-in from the team with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind. Which allowed us to fine-tune the performance of the application with a hybrid approach of both Server Side React and Client Side React. I was the team lead for our UI/UX and Frontend Developers for the Dillard's ecommerce division. Our team handled various design and engineering projects for dillards.com, where I actively worked on and contributed to each project and would oversee the design and development processes to ensure we met the business needs and stayed on schedule for project deadlines. We made the decision to migrate over to an early class based version of React back in 2015. Then slowly migrated over to React Hooks after hooks were available and stable to use in production. I helped setup and configure React to render Server Side before any mainstream SSR frameworks were available. Then helped migrate parts of the site over to Next.js, GraphQL, and Material-UI in 2019.https://www.dillards.com
