I played ice hockey professionally for many years before my studies at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Digital Media). During those years, I self-studied a lot about programming, and the never-ending journey still continues. Professional sports taught me work ethic, how to be a great team player, and how to succeed by combining the strengths of each individual.I'm passionate about high-quality code, curious about new technologies, and a perfectionist, especially when it comes to frontend development. My previous education is from a vocational college in Graphic Design and Printing.Previous experience in Graphic Design is one of my biggest strengths as a developer. I have a deep understanding of UI/UX design and can build functional prototypes with Sketch, InVision, Figma, and Adobe XD. However, I believe it's best to get into the browser/device as quickly as possible to keep things agile and build the actual end product.I have a long-standing relationship with WordPress, from Gutenberg and ACF to REST & Transients API. Knowledge of React is my biggest strength in the JavaScript/TypeScript world, but I also have some experience with Angular. I'm also familiar with Node.js powered applications.Git, Composer, Webpack, and Docker are part of my daily toolchain. I also have experience in server management and provisioning on AWS and GCP with modern DevOps practices.When not staring at the screen, you'll find me on the golf course, at the climbing gym, or playing tennis.
