The Extension Coordinator provides overall leadership and management ofthe Master Gardener program in Pierce County. The primary goal of the Master Gardenerprogram is to empower volunteers to teach the public and answer questions on homegardening. The program coordinator recruits, trains, leads, coordinates, and leverages WSU-trained volunteers to reach Pierce County’s growing population through community and specialevents.
