I worked with the Mexx design & development team to help them use their design system more effectively using pre-made CAD templates and other time-saving tips. -
FounderPro-Specs Clipart Ltd Nov 1999 - Mar 2002In my industry placement year at Central St Martins I worked with a fashion software company to train designers to use CAD software. The challenge companies had was that designers didn’t have CAD skills at the time. My first business responded to this by creating pre-made CAD design libraries with basic product templates to make it easy for designers to drag & drop and edit pre-made designs on screen - a revolutionary concept at the time! My first clients were Marks & Spencer and River Island. When designers started asking for trend specific shapes based on the latest runway shows - available for the first time online - the idea for Trendstop was born.

I became known on the Row for my hand-made buttonholes, which Prince William was one to receive.
