As Retail Operations Director (2002-2004) I have been responsible for management of retail units in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland and Russia.As Development Director (2003-2008) I have been responsible for selecting and opening (incl. negotiations, staff trainings, etc.) new units across the markets (Czech, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia). During my tenure, we have opened and renovated more than 150 retail (40 000 sqm) units across the markets.

As MD of Sportland Latvia with full P&L responsibility, I have opened Latvia as a new market for Sportland (sport goods retailer), selected local personnel, built working routines, created motivational schemes and helped staff to get exceptional results. During first months we have opened first 3 retail units (more than 500 sq.m each) and with one year we have managed to post results, which brought us to market leader position in Latvia.

Kaubamaja Group is a leading operator of department stores and hypermarkets in Estonia. My team has been responsible for non-food purchase of a Group (Kaubamaja and Selver chains combined).I had responsibility for creating purchasing strategy, selecting suppliers, negotiating cooperation terms and managing purchasing process with my team. Increase of sales and profitability generated by my team has been constantly on group top level.
