Coding the Curbs aims to make cities smarter. By digitising streets and neighbourhoods, the space in the city can be used and divided up more intelligently. During the week, a street can fulfil different functions. From loading zone and parking space to playground or recreation space. The power of multiple use of space.As projectmanager I focus on running multiple projects in our partner cities, both nationally and internationally. From the moment of the first ideations and conversations, to location scouting and benchmarking, until implementation and operation of our Smart Zones. Together with the team we are constantly learning how to improve our technology (software & hardware) and further development the start-up.

The first step towards car-sharing. The SHARIT app makes it possible for groups that collectively own a car, such as housemates, neighbours or friends, to easily keep track of their mileage and cost. Within the founding team, my primary duties are business development, finance & operations.

For my graduation project, I joined the AMS City project, which is engaged in the area development of the Marineterrein. My research focuses on designing new concepts to catalyze civic participation during the future realisation phase.

With V.D.G. Lancet, one of the largest student culture associations in the Netherlands, I organized a wide range of cultural activities and events with six other board members for a year. This includes cultural theme evenings, lectures, jam sessions, workshops, external activities and parties. Besides brainstorming about the details of the year and the many DIY projects we have done, I held the promotion position. I was responsible for brand awareness of Lancet and its activities, and I managed the media channels and provided the graphic content. In addition, I guided one of our sub-committees: the visual arts committee of Lancet.
