OrangeTrail specialise in helping organisations innovate how they communicate and collaborate using modern technology. Simply broadcasting information to employees has its limits. One-way communication does not create engagement and it makes employees passive. We help leaders and communications departments tackle these issues, by showing them how to engage and activate employees using internal social networks. We design strong communication narratives in which large dialogues play an important role. Topics can be innovation, diversity and inclusion, or a crisis. We see employees being overwhelmed by the number of meetings, emails, and new technologies in their daily work. We use social collaboration tools as alternatives to the traditional ways of working and teach teams and individuals to Work Out Loud. In doing so, the need for back-and-forth emails disappears and time spent in meetings decreases. Teams become smarter and faster. Employee satisfaction rises. We drive organisational learning that’s easy to digest (micro-learnings are the core of our approach), and based around the power of social. We use social technology to facilitate learning and increase the “liquidity of knowledge”; employees learn from each other in carefully crafted communities, where they observe others doing their best.
