Foundation 'De Buurtwerkplaatsen.nl' is a Creative Beehive: every year 600 adults are given space to make beautiful things! We have 10 workshops / studios where we apply the Master> Companion principle. Over 40 courses yearly: woodcrafts, metal or glass. But also welding, screen printing, ceramics, painting, jewelry making and PC courses. A total of 60 volunteers and craftsmen (teachers) make this possible, in addition to a small staff of 5. I focussed on (improving) business operations, programming, strategy and especially people management. For me it was very valuable that also people who have had setbacks - in any area of life - could participate and thus regain their self-confidence.

BSL is a leading publisher in healthcare. For it's portfolio of digital assessments plus other diagnostical instruments, BSL built it's own platform: TestWeb. A portal suited to independent healthcare professionals. Large (mental) healthcare companys however, need to integrate digital tools in their cliëntportals. I consulted BSL (on average 8h a week) in finding a new strategy for marketing and distribution of their digital tests, involving contracting 'third parties'.

Their network consists of refreshing candidates with up-to-date knowledge of the social domain, the physical domain, business operations and the administrative domain. The 'Public Network' method is characterized by targeted headhunting and a high-quality, customized search.

UWV is Hollands' Employee Insurance Agency. The Social Medical Affairs (SMZ) division is the expertise centre for socio medical and work-related assessments and recommendations. UWV has all the expertise to assess clients' labour capacity and advises on recovery and reintegration. To realise this, 800 doctors do about 150.000 assessments yearly. Due to ageing a.o., doctors leave UWV. Many new doctors are needed. How can UWV recruit and keep enough doctors in this competetive labourmarket? How can UWV optimize it's recruitmentprocesses?

Our care for the mentally disabled deserves dedicated (medical) staff. How do we get healthcare professionals to come to the beautiful, but remote Middelburg area? On a temporary basis I supported 'Arduin Care' to get new staff to their various locations and I worked on their Employer Branding.

Within NHG (College of Dutch Physicians / Doctors) I focused on e-health services such as e-consult plus online access into personal healthrecords. This in collaboration with the Ministry of Healthcare plus many other medical associations.

Van der Kruijs is a specialised search firm, completing high level positions in a.o. management and healthcare. On an interim assignment I help searching & matching for the best fitting candidates.

It was our goal to introduce qualified professionals to our clients and simultaneously help professionals to new positions that fit and help them grow. Since 'digital first' is crucial for media companies, more and different (digital) competencies are sought for in (new) staff. I advised clients with all (strategic) issues of personnel management. This started with defining new roles and profiles. Outplacement of staff could be part of the transformation needed. I also acted as an interim recruiter. For BOSE's EU Marketing-Communication Department e.g., I recruited specialists, fitting BOSE's ambition to build an inhouse Advertising-Agency. I closely aligned with Bose's HR department.

Since I quit my position as an employee (editorial, up to 2002) I continued several publishing-projects for some publishing houses. For example, in 2006 - 2007 I worked for 8 months as an Interim acquisitions editor at Pearson Education Benelux, developing Higher Education teaching methods.

DEXIS Arbeid is a consultancy network focused on labour-healthmanagement. For over 4 years I acted within complex, long-term multi-party change oriented projects. Topics: Absenteeism, re-integration, social security, HR-strategy. For this I quit my job and became an associate with the Dexis network, through my own company House of Labour.

Weka Publishing in 2000 was strong in printmedia for HR-professionals. I was asked to innovate this subscription based print publishing. I developed multi-media packages. Starting 2007 these have been transformed into primarily online based. I was involved in this online migration, on a freelance basis.

For 8 months I held this position. Active for the board of Educational Publishers ánd promoting the Dutch Publishers Association as their PR-officer.
