He has a functional specialism in human resources, allowing him to link the business objectives with the people agenda and has delivered on a broad range of assignments, including general management, commercial, corporate officer and business transformation roles. He has experience of working with publically listed, family office and private equity backed UK businesses as well as international organisations looking to establish a presence in the UK. His career to date has included positions at Archer Matheson where he was a founding partner and BIE where he was Managing Director. In his earlier career, he spent four years in South Africa where he established a food processing business for a multinational FMCG organisation.James grew up in Yorkshire and Scotland and went on to study Marine Biology at Bangor University where he obtained a BSc. and went on to obtain an MSc. in Aquaculture and biochemistry.Specialties: Search and interim management, specialising in finding senior talent for Plc's, private equity and privately owned companies.
