Having a successful career in the food and beverage industry for nearly ten years focusing on corporate strategy, financial management, organizational and people development.Before becoming part of the food and beverage industry I was an active duty soldier in the U.S Army. During my active duty tenure I was awarded two Army Accommodation medals for meritorious achievement, three Army Achievement medals for outstanding achievement during missions, and five Army Certificates of Achievement for successful missions. While serving my country I also graduated Cum Laude from Virginia State University (VSU) with a degree in Business Marketing. I then joined Waffle House and was promoted several times to Division Manger. Gaining strategic planning skills, developing a great understanding of financial management, and also refining my abilities as a leader. Having extensive experience in senior leadership, and being invited to speak with medium and large companies publicly. I am grateful for those who support me in achieving success within my career. I believe my duty is to nurture and develop future leaders in my community. I am currently the Managing Director of Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and the Cubmaster for a local Cub Scout. It has been a great experience watching young minds blossom as they learn personal accountability and stewardship. I continue to look forward to what the future may bring.
