I was part of the Tshirologo Disability Group’s remote external marketing and communications team that assisted with brainstorming, creating and providing a strategic content marketing strategy to increase brand awareness of the company’s products and services across social media platforms. I worked with graphic designers and SEO specialists. I was responsible for producing copywriting for all posts on social media platforms, newsletters and opinion editorials, as well as proofreading and editing all content. In addition, I provided advice and shared strategic insights with management team, and ensured queries were attended to and resolved, ensuring smooth communication at all times, and I proposed a strategic sales and marketing strategy to improve sales and revenue.

I was part of the Africa Trust Group’s marketing and communications department that supported Enygma Ventures’ initial set up and growth. Enygma Ventures is a R100 million venture capital fund focused on investing in women-led startups, women founders and entrepreneurs within the SADC regionI managed Enygma Ventures’ social media platforms, nurtured the online community, analyzed engagement data and looked after the fund’s selected entrepreneurs. I increased awareness of Enygma Ventures’ funding campaigns through targeted public relations campaigns from October 2019 – August 2020 and each campaign included a call-to- action strategy inviting female entrepreneurs to apply for funding. I wrote and managed press releases and secured coverage through earned media strategies.In addition, I liaised with entrepreneurs and media houses across the SADC region, and responded to all kinds of queries across social media platforms and email. I project managed Enygma Ventures’ first company profile video and produced copywriting for all content shared on social media platforms, website, blog, newsletters and press releases. I maintained the fund’s brand identity across all platforms, and focused on client relationship management and building relationships to increase brand awareness.
