The Yellow Ribbon Fund is a 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization providing support to wounded, ill and injured service members and their families while they’re at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, and after they return to their hometowns. Since our beginning, more than 80 cents of every dollar spent has gone directly to programs and services, thanks in part to our small staff and a volunteer force that has grown to more than 1,300.

Navy Mutual Aid Association serves its membership by providing exceptional life insurance and annuity products to military members and their families, assisting sea service members and their survivors in securing the federal benefits to which they are legally entitled, and providing education on matters of financial security which are specifically tailored to the military member and family.

While working at Right Management and as an independent career management consultant, I worked with individual clients to help them plan career transitions, build their self-marketing strategy and interview successfully. And, I helped my corporate and organizational clients manage change, and develop new markets and new capabilities. In addition to my work in career and organizational management consulting, I was an active line pilot with American Airlines from 1998 to 2012, flying the Boeing 737 series aircraft throughout the U.S, Canada and Mexico. I also have experience in the Boeing MD-80, and Navy P-3 and EP-3.

Highlights of my near 25 years of naval service include serving as Assistant National Security Advisor to Vice Presidents Quayle and Gore between 1991 and 1994; Commanding Officer of Patrol and Reconnaissance Squadron 10 at NAS Brunswick, Maine in 1989 and 1990; Commander of Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Ten at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington in 1995 and 1996; and Senior Fellow on the Navy Strategic Studies Group in 1997 and 1998.
