Desktop Engineer
Current-Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager administration. -Microsoft Azure administration.-Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.-Provides technical and operational support for desktop and laptop computers including new request tracking, system monitoring, and hardware and software installation/setup. Handles ticket escalations of difficult or persistent end user computer issues.-Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.-Responsible for creating deployment packages and custom applications in an enterprise environment.-Develop and follow procedures for testing applications prior to deployment.-Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.-Desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.-Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.-Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.-Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
