Commissioning Technical Program Manager
CurrentSpearheading the development of an end-to-end Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Life Safety, and Security (FLSS), Commissioning and Quality Program to enhance project deliverables. Writing policies, standards, and procedures; developing systems and processes to create the program.Leading a cohesive effort with the Design, Construction, & Site Operations teams to ensure comprehensive system evaluations, enforcing stringent quality controls and functional testing aligned with organizational and client specifications. Managing external commissioning partners and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) vendors, elevating the competencies of construction personnel through targeted training in commissioning standards. Orchestrating schedule and testing updates among diverse stakeholders, directing on-site commissioning and synchronizing efforts between Commissioning Authorities (CxA), equipment suppliers, design, construction, and operational teams to guarantee on-schedule project fruition within established parameters.· Oversee the commissioning process for MEP systems in ORD, SLC, NEO and CMH ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. · Execute procurement strategy, solicit, evaluate, and level proposals. Making recommendations for the award of 3rd party commissioning agent for all projects. · Work hand in hand with third-party commissioning agents on the development, review, and implementation of project-specific commissioning plans. · Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful implementation of MEP systems. · Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure consistency and excellence. · Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external team members including staff, contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, commissioning agents, and other industry professionals. · Provide subject matter expertise in areas of responsibility.
