I’m a licentiate physicist who is amazed about the capabilities of the Artificial intelligence to change our society. I’ve always been very curious and interested in how to provide human-like behavior to the machines. The human brain is amazing but now machines are beginning to perform some tasks quite well: image recognition, speech translation, classification, and many many more. I find it wonderful and I decided to be part of it some years ago. I’ve been working the last three years as a Data Scientists using machine learning and deep learning to model some classification and regression problems. From them I’d like to highlight a sales forecasting model using LSTM neural networks and a devised model for sport facilities occupation prediction. Because of my academic background, I consider that I’m an analytical-minded person who has the capability to work in this data driven emerging world. My goal is to contribute with my data scientist skills and knowledge to solve real life problems using machine learning and, with that, to feel that it is useful to make this world a better world.
