As a Junior Software Engineer, I worked in an international team to develop the Reconciliation Engine, a Golang-based tool designed to reconcile transactions against files provided by clients. My key responsibilities included:Implementing and optimizing normalization rules for transaction data.Adding new features to generate transaction statistics for enhanced monitoring and reportingUtilizing PostgreSQL for database management and Prometheus for system monitoring.I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams across different countries to deliver efficient, scalable solutions for our client, Thunes, ensuring seamless transaction reconciliation.

During my intership I have acquired skills both in technical aspects and team cooperation. I was working in AGILE process. My assigments revolved around Golang/Terraform written Managed Kafka Reporter which was deployed on Kubernetes. I have contributed to this project in by adding new features regarding to exposing Kafka metrics, costs show back and writting unit tests. I have also enchanced project documentation, fixed various bugs and completed PoCs and SPIKEs.
