The former cardboard factory in the Achtersluipolder in Zaandam has been converted by a group of enthusiasts from the Crealization Foundation into a modular studio village 'De Hoop', with 160 studios and 5 workshops for about 200 artists and creatives. The Crealisatie Foundation is an umbrella organization that builds and develops places at various locations in the fringe between Amsterdam and Zaandam and beyond, where people can live and work together. We connect creatives with companies in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area and make new steps in the development of the creative industry. The Foundation manages and rents out studio and retail spaces and facilitates workshops, materials and transport to support projects. I was responsible for subsidy applications and development of the cultural programming at the Night-Theatre Sugar Factory (Amsterdam) and for the cooperation with other cultural locations in the Netherlands and abroad.Due to my effort Sugar Factory has been included in the municipal Kunstenplan 2009-2012 and has also been subsidised by the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst. In the resulting series of art exhibitions at Sugar Factory I played a role of the curator.

Sugar Factory is a company consisting of 65 employees. As the co-founder and co-owner I was responsible for the creation of the business plan, coordination of the interior renovation, staff recruitment, programming, publicity, promotion and external communication. I have also developed a lasting cooperation with the municipality (Stadsdeel Centrum), political parties, sponsors and cultural locations in town (i.e. Melkweg). Today Sugar Factory is one of the 5 leading cultural podia in Amsterdam.

As an independent club producer and DJ I developed such night-life brands as ‘Club Vegas’ (Winston Int. and Panama, in Amsterdam) and ‘DiscoCult’ (Sugar Factory). I have co-produced other night-life brands at Winston Int., Panama, Sugar Factory, Melkweg and the Lowlands Festival. In all my productions I placed focus on event branding, internationalising and the increase of cultural content in the nightlife economy.- Head of production, Panama (Amsterdam)- Head of production, Winston Int. (Amsterdam)- DJ in AmsterdamI was a resident DJ at Sugar Factory, Panama and Winston Int., also performed DJ-sets in Vienna, Berlin, London, Perth and Sydney.

- Interior architect:I have designed and realised interiors for, amongst others, Winston Int., Boom Chicago Theater, Sugar Factory, galleries Art Affairs and d’Eendt.- Art consultant and designer for monumental sculpture:Together with Dutch artists Sjoerd Buisman and Marijke de Goey I worked on design and realisation of sculptural projects in the Netherlands and abroad.

For a duration of 5 years I held ‘Open Poetry” night at Winston Int., as performing poet and producer. I also produced poetry performances featuring Dutch and foreign poets at the Cosmic and Bellavue Theatres in Amsterdam.- Performing poet, various literary podia and festivals- Presenter, Crossing Border Festival, Den Hague- Theatre maker/actor, Stalhouderij Theater, Amsterdam- Head of the Polish Program, Audiovisueel Experimenteel Festival ArnhemAfter receiving an award for one of my films I was invited by the festival organisers to create Polish program; as a result almost 60 filmmakers and audiovisual artists from Poland took part in this festival in 1990 and 1991.

- co-producer and décor designer, Film Poza Kinem Festival, (Wroclaw, Poland) the very first independent off-cinema festival in Eastern Block.- Founding member of Kormorany (Wroclaw, Poland) the notorious theatre-oriented, experimental band.- Co-founder Film Group ‘Torpeda’ (Wroclaw, Poland)This independent and rebellious film group, of which I was a member as an actor and director, became known in Poland in the 80s with its underground, highly praised productions like ‘K.T.P.’ and ‘Wielka Majowka’.
