My role with Choose to Invest focuses on sustainability inside and outside of the organization. I collaborate on community development projects in rural East Africa as well as co-manage internal and external communications.

My research focus was on developing intercultural competence in undergraduate students. The goal of this research was to increase their employability skills and encourage the students to think with a global mindset. I did this by incorporating global-focused pedagogy into coursework. During my time at Purdue, I wrote 5 first-author published academic articles, led a group of undergraduate teaching and research assistants, and taught laboratory courses in person and synchronous online.

During my time as an undergraduate intern, I was responsible for writing articles about the Department of Agriculture to be featured on the Illinois State University website, managing our department facebook page, collaborated with a faculty committee to create new recruitment materials, and designed an online learning class.
