CurrentRole as Crew Relations Leader - Conduct employee relation investigations full time, maintain well organized notes, provide corrective action, coaching and feedback as needed.Offer coaching & feedback to salaried leaders, as well as drafting performance improvement plans & re-directives when necessary.Calmly and professionally walk employees through their reasons for termination and our processes.Act a business partner and provide advice for salaried leaders who have HR related concerns and questions.Travel to our cooperate offices to attend extensive training on fair work week laws in Philadelphia and New York City.Role as a Crew Relations Specialist - Sept. 2018 - May 2021Investigate all cash handling policy violations. Recover stolen funds whenever possible. Manage hotline database to ensure employee relations cases are delegated to the appropriate Crew Relations Leader in a timeline manner.Code all allegations in hotline correctly.Complete employee relations investigations as needed.Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on employee relation matters. Travel to Restaurants nationwide, as needed, to assist with fact finding interviews, and Restaurant cultural assessments. Maintain a working knowledge of all updated policies and procedures and ensure they are enforced by all. Review background screening process (received on average 20 background reports to review per day).Update matrix for background screening vendor.Manage background reporting and distribute the pre/final adverse action process to applicants. Complete unemployment claims and hearings for all 26 states. (During COVID I trained a team of 10 to assist with high levels of claims due per day, maintaining an almost 100% win rate)Manage the Crew Relations inbox and respond to emails 7 days a week.Coordinate Best Places to Work Surveys; winner 13 years in a row.Trained replacement/backfill on all Crew Relation Specialist tasks, due to promotion, and created a training manual.
