Jac Goorden is a seasoned innovation executive in innovation venturing and portfolio management. He is both a strategic advisor and an active participant (where needed) in the execution of new ventures. His track record is in digital transformation, data science, and IoT, applied to mobility, sustainability, and health-tech. In these domains he brings knowledge and connections from end-user view as well as market, technology, business, partnering and funding. Jac combines a Dutch no-nonsense style with international experience, mainly focused on Belgium, Spain, Germany, and US.Jac is co-founder, acting COO, and board member of the Bicore decision support software company, and an executive in innovation venturing and portfolio management. As Bicore's CTO, he was responsible from 2008-2020 for the creation and ongoing development of FLIGHTMAP and REALMAP, the powerful and easy-to-use portfolio management solutions for innovation and real estate portfolios. He has worked in several industry sectors for international companies such as Philips, IBM, Unilever, Mars, DAF Trucks, TomTom, NXP, EY, and Deloitte, as well as major real estate and utility companies.Jac has always been an active coach for a wide range of high-tech start ups and scale-ups, especially in the data analytics, software, and systems space, as well as a number of innovation boards (including ICT Group's Dragons Den and EIT Digital's innovation program). Jac has a MSc degree in Mathematics & Computing Science and is a guest lecturer in several executive MBA programs across Europe, focusing on innovation and strategy.He is a founding member of the Institute for R&D Performance Management IPERF (Berlin) and the European Decision Professionals Network (EDPN, Amsterdam/Copenhagen/London), and chairs the Dutch chapter of the Society for Decision Professionals.
