Selling and negotiating with large wholesalers, multiples (Dunne’s, Tesco’s, Supervalu’s & Centra’s) as well as all convenience symbol and independent retailers. Large accounts are called on twice weekly; smaller accounts are called on weekly or fortnightly.•Identifying customer opportunities to grow soft drinks categories in outlets, providing retailers with tools to develop their business through the use of Outlet Development plans, Testimonials and the use of an in house tool a ‘Ready Reckoner’ for calculating margin and profit.•Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by adopting a value added approach to their business.•Sell in Coolers, Beverage Tracks and equipment in accordance with guidelines on volume potential and strategic location.•Planned strategies to target and develop new accounts, while maintaining existing accounts, secured new accounts resulting in increased revenues.•Planning and prioritising the route on a daily/weekly basis, whilst implementing policy for best practice in a world class sales organisation.•Recording and tracking all orders and information on our in-house computer system ‘Pheonix’.•Keeping a critical eye on what our competitors are doing and reporting this back to management.
