It is a privilege to journey with young people as they are challenged and work to make decisions of which they can be proud. Working with teenagers allows me to be a guide for students to reflect on the impact they have on the world and the people around them. Their interactions are developing in both respect and empathy for others. Relationship centered education, which I value, has at the foremost, the students’ individual wellbeing. At the base of my educational philosophy is the whole student’s social emotional learning and academic growth. As a leader in education, I nurture the staff to support the teenager in their most vulnerable stages with mentoring and care. My greatest professional achievement is the relationships I develop with, and within, my teams. Leading and concurrently celebrating a culture of success within my teams, are core to who I am as an educational leader.
