College Sophomore Seeking to Contribute to Computer Science: Internship OpportunitiesHi there! I am a freshman at the University of North Texas, and I am starting my journey in the everchanging world of Computer Science. With my interest in technology, I’m eager to contribute my fresh perspectives as a young person and show my newly found skills to projects and collaborative teams.I have no other experience in computer science other than the few classes in have taken in both my high school, Plano East Senior East Highschool, and The University of North Texas. But I would see this internship has a way to help expand my skills.I'm a motivated individual with a persistent drive to learn and grow in the evolving field of computer science. I have skills in easy communication and project management. So far into my major, I have completed a couple of courses important to this field, including Computer Science I and II, and Introduction to Technical Writing. I have also taken a few math courses as well. My academic foundation in programming languages includes Java and C++, that provides me with a great way to takedown challenging problems and develop efficient solutions.In both the academic and physical world, I embrace my competitive nature as a driving force behind my efforts. I look at competition as not only a way to showcase my skills and abilities but also as an opportunity for self-improvement. Whether it’s reaching high grades or competing against an opposing team in a sport, I approach each opportunity with a hunger to achieve. Competition fuels my desire to stay committed to my goals.
