I've worn many hats over the years – from managing a liquor store to now assisting the delivery of digital projects and communication efforts.My adaptability means I'm up for any task and I embrace change with a positive attitude. I focus on results and action while keeping a collaborative and people-orientated approach. I like to stay true to who I am – friendly, empathetic, and always up for a good chat.What drives me? Well, besides continual learning and growth, life is more meaningful when I'm making a difference. Child poverty and health advocacy are close to my heart (my daughter has Type 1 Diabetes), as is honoring our country's founding document, Te Tiriti o Waitangi. From moving countries and starting over as a single parent (at the time) in 2016, to graduating with a Bachelor of Communication (PR) in 2021, I've learned a lot about resilience and growth.
