Sustainer Homes produces completely circular buildings based on robotically produced wooden modules. Besides saving 90% CO2, our buildings are highly comfortable and beautifully designed. In addition, the building process is quick, transparent and predictably priced. This way, we aim to set a new standard in the building industry. In my role, I am responsible for day-to-day operations like planning, HR, and managing the revenue process. In addition, I am continously improving internal processes, trying to make things run smoothly. I also oversee finance, accounting, and legal activities.

Samen met Doekes Prakken en Martijn Simons heb ik 'Kickstart Your Social Impact' (www.kickstartyoursocialimpact.nl) opgericht: een project ontwikkeld vanuit de Baak, dat maatschappelijke opdrachten uit bedrijfsleven en overheid koppelt aan jonge starters. Zo dragen we bij aan de ontwikkeling van deze starters, en helpen we het bedrijfsleven innovatiever en meer maatschappelijk betrokken te worden. Ik ben bij Kickstart betrokken bij de bedrijfsvoering, de ontwikkeling van het innovatietraject, het mentoren en coachen van deelnemers, werving en selectie, en nog veel meer van de organisatie achter de schermen.

Alter Opus is een denktank dat 'anders denkt over werk' - geboren uit mijn behoefte aan scherpe analyses van onze huidige 'dogma's' over werk, en mijn mede-oprichter Gert's passie om de wereld te verbeteren. Bij Alter Opus hebben we o.a. een grootschalig onderzoek uitgevoerd naar onbetaalde werkervaringsplekken, wat we hebben gepresenteerd aan de 2e kamer. Zelf heb ik verscheidene workshops en lezingen gegeven over de geschiedenis van werk, werkloosheidsbeleid in Nederland, en de opkomst van de 'homo ondernemicus'.
