During my time with McLachlan Marine I worked as skipper on their safety boats at Nigg Bay Harbour development. I also worked as crew on their survey and CTV vessels.

As a deck hand at Mallaig Marine I worked as part of a three man team responsible for all of Marine Harvests fish farm mooring installations. My duties also included all general boat maintenance of the company Multi Cat and landing craft.

I sub contracted to Wester Ross Diving Services. Specialising in aqua culutre maintenance. I am a highly competent fish farm diver with experince in other aspects of inshore diving from civil enginereing to sub sea salvage, photographic inspection and seabed searches.

As a net washing operative for the Scottish Salmon Company I worked on a 7 seven day on, seven day off shift rotation. This took me away from home as I lived with my work colleagues while on shift. I daily used heavy machinery from sea cranes to high pressure pumps all based on boats and off shore barges.

I sub contracted to Geoff Stone Forestry Limited as a forestry site laborer. During my time with this company I worked as part of a small team to help clear invasive and dangerous plant species from forestry sites. This was a very good exorcise in communication and being aware of my own safety and the safety of others. Working in dangerous conditions we worked together to form protocols for effective and safe working practices.

As a student Game keeper on Kilchoan Estate I worked under a senior Game keeper and estate manager to preform all daily task that were required to run the estate. These ranged from caring for stock animals to basic mechanical maintenance of estate vehicles and caring for estate properties. this also gave me my first opportunity to work closely with clients both foreign and national. It taught me good client relation skills and helped me to further my ability to speak french.
