Life has a way of surprising us and taking us down unexpected paths. I originally intended to become a chef, but as it turns out, my path led me to become a mechanical engineer. The transition in my career path wasn't easy and I faced many obstacles, but through my persistence I exceeded even my expectations.I've had a very fulfilling experience in college and university, acquiring new knowledge and striving to achieve my best. The quality of my work was acknowledged and I received various accolades, which I take great pride in. I was awarded the Best Student and Best Project awards during my master's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Liverpool and was also acknowledged as the IMechE institution's best student for my Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering from Oxford Brookes University.It was a straightforward transition from academia to the professional world, as I envisioned an opportunity to continue learning and accomplish even more. My current objective is to attain chartered engineer status, a significant step that will enable me to advance my career and make a more impactful contribution to the industry. I'm thrilled to embrace this challenge and foster my growth on both professional and personal fronts. I am currently an Associate Member at the IMechE, and this membership has already provided me with valuable insights and connections with fellow industry professionals.So far in my career I've worked in different industries and have gained a diverse range of skills. My experience with working on innovative design projects has allowed me to approach assignments from a different perspective and think creatively. My experiences as a mechanical design engineer include performing FEA studies, verifying results, issuing reports, presenting designs to stakeholders, addressing industry concerns, and providing solutions to design-related issues.
