I lead a team of portfolio specialists at Sands Capital, an active, long-term investor in leading innovative growth businesses, globally. As the primary interface between Sands Capital's client relations and portfolio management teams, portfolio specialists communicate investment strategy and portfolio positioning, conduct competitive and marketplace analysis, and develop thought leadership content for the firm's flagship public equity portfolios.Prior to joining Sands Capital in 2016, I spent nearly a decade at leading asset and wealth managers in New York. I was most recently a vice president and alternative investments portfolio specialist at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. I advised on manager selection and portfolio construction for a custom hedge fund portfolio program and was a member of the OCIO group's investment committee. Earlier, I was involved in private equity investor relations and product management. I began my career at J.P. Morgan, first as an analyst in the firm's private bank, and later as a wholesaler in the firm's asset management business.I'm a CFA charterholder and earned a BA from the College of William & Mary.
