Director of Preconstruction; Responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the preconstruction phase of projects to meet the cost objectives with respect to design, contracting, scheduling, estimating, and bidding. Coordinated with the Operations Manager and/or Project Manager(s) on team assignments. Prepared detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction). Assembled estimates including general conditions, special conditions, insurance, and bonds. Prepare and analyze cost models during the Design Development and/or bidding period. Assured that the estimates, including general conditions, were accurate, complete, and reflected actual requirements of project(s). This included assuring that there were an adequate number of qualified and financially sound subcontractor proposals received and evaluated. Planned and lead the preconstruction strategy meeting on the approach to the project or estimate. Assure that potential risk factors have been evaluated and reviewed with senior management (i.e. Peer Review, if required, contract bond authorization, contract review, insurance review, etc.).

In conjunction with position @ TrowTiere Precision Construction.Directed all preconstruction services including hard bid, design-build, CM @ Risk, negotiated projects, proposal preparation, marketing, networking, and business development. Primary focus on tribal and governmental projects. Includes working with the Gila River Indian Community, Navajo Indian Community, Bureau of Indian Affairs (AZ & NM), and Military Facilities (AZ & NM).

In conjunction with position @ Rock Gap Engineering.Directed all preconstruction services including hard bid, design-build, CM @ Risk, negotiated projects, proposal preparation, marketing, networking, and business development. Primary focus on private clients, the charter school community, and service Mohave Contract (modular buildings). Secondary focus public educational projects.Also focused on developing and nurturing client relationships full-time.
