During my internship, I contributed to two significant projects, leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI and advanced data extraction techniques, resulting in improved document refinement and enhanced data accuracy.Project 1: Chat Interface for Document RefinementDeveloped a sophisticated chat interface using Generative AI to refine documents, receiving positive feedback from product managers for its effectiveness.- Full-Stack Development: Utilized next.js for frontend and backend development, and Vercel's AI-SDK library for LLM communication.- Prompt Engineering: Designed 11 specific prompts for the chat interface using AI-SDK, significantly enhancing user interaction.- Schema Design: Employed the Zod library to create schemas for structuring the LLM responses.- User Feedback Integration: Implemented an email feedback form for product managers, resulting in valuable insights and continuous improvement.Project 2: Data Extraction and Analysis ApplicationDeveloped a comprehensive application for extracting and analyzing unstructured tabular data from images, overcoming OCR extraction challenges with innovative solutions.- Advanced Tools and Technologies: Leveraged Amazon Textract, Azure Document Intelligence, Vercel's AI-SDK, and multimodal models (Claude from Anthropic and GPT-4 through Azure), for data extraction.- Preprocessing and Postprocessing: Improved image quality using the PIL and OpenCV (cv2) libraries, and implemented customized postprocessing to enhance data accuracy using the multimodal LLMs.- Full-Stack Development: Utilized next.js for frontend and Flask for backend development.
