I am a hardworking, focused and reliable professional with a wide variety of experience in all aspects of business management. In my most recent position, I oversaw and managed the day to day running of a Carpets and Flooring company. This included the logistical planning of floor fitters diaries’ to ensure they were maximising profitability, without overloading the workload and therefore negatively impacting the quality of work, whilst maintaining and safe working environment for all staff. I am also responsible for liaising with Managers from associated businesses to ensure timely completion of new build properties, in which we provide floor coverings. This involved strict time management of our workload to ensure we fit in seamlessly between other trades, to ensure we do not cause delays in the process. As well as managing the fitters, it was also my responsibility to oversee quoted residential work to ensure it was profitable, ensure materials were ordered in the correct volumes and within the necessary timescales. The complete day to day management of the business, and day to day decision making, was my role. Prior to this I have held Sales Positions, both at Listers Mini and Comet. Both roles specialised in face to face sales of luxury products and associated extras (warranties etc). During both of these roles, I would be responsible for the complete customers sales journey, from initial contact through to product handover and after sales care. Whilst at Comet, I progressed to the role of Supervisor, which included being a Store Key holder and duty manager. During my time at Listers Mini, I led the sales team in terms of profitability. Between sales roles, I have also held positions at Halifax Bank, ranging from Banking Consultant to Assistant Branch Manager. During my role as Banking Consultant, I would provide customers with advice and information to help them decide which products would best suit their financial needs. As Assistant Branch Manager, I would help oversee both the sales team and the service providers to maximise profitability and efficiency of both teams. It was my responsibility to ensure our branch was always maintaining our adherence to risk and procedural guidelines, by way of regular checks. The combination of my previous roles have given me a wide range of experience in a variety of areas, from Management of a Team, Logistical Planning and Financial Analysis to Procedural Adherence and Health and Safety control.
