This has seen me recruiting students/graduates via marketing campaigns (social media/print), telephone, and recruitment fairs, tailoring communications for effective liaison with senior management, clients and external stakeholders as well as delivering presentations to students to raise profile and enhance engagement with Essex Interns. I have also brought a willingness to question established ways of thinking and coached and managed new members of staff to support transition and staff retention. Administrating online job vacancy boards has also widened my understanding of U.K. employment laws.Further to recruiting candidates, I also use my sound administration skills to handle applications and sign ups to the Essex Interns scheme. This includes e-filing applications from employer and prospective interns, collating, filing and forwarding job applications to hiring managers and also adding new vacancies to our database.I am also involved in business development and employer liaison and I have taken the lead on researching prospective employers who may interested in employing an intern. As a result, on a recent employability project, we were able to create 165 internships in a four month period, compared to 100 in the previous year. Producing professional reports for senior managers on the Project and tying up loose ends has seen me greatly enhance my analytical and reporting skills. Show less
