Oversee all aspects of Human Capital Services for the organization to positively impact the employee experience. Design strategies to attract and retain top talent in areas of talent acquisition, compensation and benefits. Implement Human Resources systems that anticipate customer needs in order to drive engagement. Partner with senior executive leadership to forecast labor demands based on business needs and market trends to provide an optimized workforce.

Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Human Resources Department for Scripps Medical Foundation. This service area includes four medical groups, thirty outpatient clinics and over 2,500 employees. Responsible for developing and directing programs and staff in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, compensation, compliance, occupational health, safety & wellness and leadership training and development. Collaborate with executive leadership in the identification, design, implementation and evaluation of innovative programs that are aligned with Scripps’ mission, vision, goals and initiatives.

Responsible for the management of the Human Resources department for Scripps Medical Foundation as it relates to workforce management and development. Serve as internal consultant to executives and management in the areas of recruitment, retention, workforce planning and employee relations.

Managed recruitment process for 11 Clinics and over 1800 employees. Responsible for recruitment in all healthcare disciplines.

Worked closely with Vice President of Deployment and management in the Southwest region to provide consultation on all general HR issues. Responsibilities included recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Established new client relationships to assess IT staffing needs. Responsible for identifying, interviewing and technically evaluating possible candidates for placement with clients.
