I had 2 tasks:I've conducted research on optical measurements and checks of holes with diameters from 0,1mm up to 0,25mm. This was done with the DMAIC structure which earned me the Lean Six Sigma greenbelt.The second task consists of the creation and improvement of measurement programs on 2 CMM's with PC-DMIS CAD++ software, Leitz Infinity and a Mycrona Sygnum (multi-sensor).Besides programming I support production and NPI with advise, training and support.One way how I supported production is with the automation of saving data, by programming macro's in VBA Excel.

I am responsible for creating measurement-programs with PC-DMIS CAD++ for the Hexagon CMM Optiv multisensor (tactile, camera and Chromatic Whitelight Sensor).When the program is ready I also check the first product in collaboration with the quality engineers.Besides that I also work on templates for the measurement-programs, with the idea to increase the output of programs.I am also involved with NPI's, this manifests itself in judging the measurability of the new product and advising the design engineer how to dimension and tolerate these products.

My responsibility was to research the potential for leadtime reduction in the fabrication of windows and how to do it, in the big picture.This resulted in the conclusion that there is potential for a reduction of ±70%.
