My duties and responsibilities in this role were:• Responsible for ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and fulfilment of customer requests, in accordance with standard operational procedures and agreed performance criteria.• Responsible for escalation of incidents and requests which cannot or are unlikely to be resolved within agreed service levels.• Liaise with the service desk to ensure effective identification, prioritisation and assignment of incidents and requests through to resolution/closure.• Maintain and support several systems and solutions systems currently in use including but not limited to:o Sophos Central – Ensuring all machines are in the console and communicating with the server, escalating alerts and incidents to the relevant senior or team Blocking/unblocking peripheral deviceso MDE – Escalating alerts and incidents to the relevant senior or team o Sophos Management Appliance Proxy Software - Blocking/unblocking websiteso Certificate Authority for VPN – Removing certificates as part of the leavers process.• Responsible for the prompt escalation of all suspected security incidents to ICT Security Management.• Software used as part of this role:o BMC Helixo Office 365o SharePointo MDEo Sophos Centralo Sophos Management Applianceo Manage Engine• I used Manage Engine to amend Sophos Client issues via remote reinstallation
