From the time I finished high school, I already knew as I became a self-employed, sales representative, I was determined to thrive in my chosen field of sales.Well over 5 years later, I can say that those initial experiences in the sales environment abruptly corrected my misperceptions about money, sales and the crucial ability to keep persisting past the obstacles or doubts in one’s sales or career.I learned how to quickly convey a sales pitch and how to listen actively for undertones or cues.I learned to generate my own leads, close sales, manage customer relationships and earn commission as a sole source of income. I have since worked multiple hard sales positions, passionately applying myself in each, I have studied 3 years in a bachelor of business, majoring in marketing and throughout, I have maintained a core set of values which I choose to act upon to create successful business relationships.Starting with prioritising the genuine understanding of customer needs (emotionally and practically), delivering seamless conversations intuitively and relating relevant solutions to needs effectively. Lastly, expressing honesty, respect and empathy to ensure the creation of mutual rapport.
