About Jack Bowyer
I have a PhD in Synthetic Biology from the University of Warwick and an MMath degree in Mathematics from the University of Reading. I am currently a Defence Scientist at the Met Office and alongside my role I am completing an MSc Apprenticeship in Data Science at the University of Exeter.I enjoy working with mathematical models and using them to make reliable predictions of real-world processes. I am keen to channel this passion into developing my skills as a Data Scientist, with particular interest in machine learning approaches for Defence applications.
