Schoolhouse is a peer tutoring program started by Sal Khan (the same guy who began Khan Academy) and is focused on giving free peer tutoring opportunities to anyone and everyone. I volunteer my time to teach SAT prep, calculus, and physics to those who need it.This work is very important to me because I believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity to success and to fulfill their college and life dreams. Not everyone can afford extra professional help and teachers don't have infinite time to give, but everyone deserves to be able to reach out for assistance whenever they need it.

I have been active in scouting since I was in second grade, in 2014. In 2018 I made the transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts and joined Troop 835. Since then I have served several years in a leadership capacity as a patrol leader. As a patrol leader I was responsible for the organization, mentoring, and care of a quarter of the troop, usually around 10-15 other kids. Being a patrol leader was one of my first experiences as a leader and helped me develop many of the leadership techniques that I still use.

Assisted the Clerk of Superior Court in the Orange County Courthouse while completing office tasks.Observed local trials, greeted citizens, directing them to the appropriate locations, and assisted in briefing incoming jurors.Assisted the Estates department with their transition to online filing and redaction.This work was important to me because I firmly believe that everyone deserves a fair equal shot at Justice (without stress involved) and my extra hands around the office allow for less mistakes to be made in haste. I also firmly believe in the value of public information and government disclosure. I worked towards this goal by assisting the estates department in transferring their documents to an online platform that allows for easier streamlined viewing of public information so that anyone not matter their background can see it without having to have the ability to drive who knows how far to the courthouse to access files.

The Order of the Arrow is Boy Scouts honor society. I held the position of Vice President of Communication in the Saponi chapter of Lodge 104 for two years before stepping down from the office. In this position it was my responsibility to handle the communications and outreach for my chapter and to help organize our monthly meetings. This position helped me to fine tune my team communication and event planning skills, giving me an opportunity to put them into action. While participating in the Order of the Arrow, I also achieved my Brotherhood membership level, signifying my dedication to the pillars of service, gratitude, and community that the order represents.
