I conduct comprehensive analyses of a wide range of fixed income securities, including both corporate bonds and government debt. Leveraging financial models and market insights, I assess creditworthiness, interest rate risks, and market trends to support the sector and the committee’s investment decisions. I collaborate with sector members on portfolio strategy and contribute to optimizing returns while managing risk across our fixed income portfolio.

I work as an analyst in the Fixed Income sector where we analyze different security types, taking into account macroeconomic and interest rate environments, yields and durations, as well as credit quality. We run portfolio optimization, duration, and risk models before creating and giving presentations to buy/sell/trim/hold a security.

Over the summers of 2021 and 2022 I worked with a friend to start up a small pressure washing company. We used word of mouth, the NextDoor app, and our local network to find clients. After creating a schedule of our clients for the summer we performed the pressure washing ourselves with equipment we invested in. For a small business with founders who had little to no business experience, I would consider our operation successful.

I was the group leader for the Publicity and Outreach sector of this organization associated with my high school. I worked with a group of classmates to market the IB program to 9th and 10th graders at Riverwood. We also worked with Ridgeview Middle School, our feeder school, to expose younger kids to the program they would eventually have the opportunity to be a part of.
