Acoustical Engineer
CurrentProduct Audio Engineering - Supporting the acoustic design and development of next generation consumer noise cancelling headphones.Collaborate with product engineering team members to design, build, and test headphone productswith audio playback, active noise cancellation, and voice pickup features. Investigate and develop acoustic system design concepts to achieve product performance requirements. Conduct acoustic measurements of components, subsystems, and full assemblies and perform analysis of result. Use simulation tools to predict acoustic system behavior. Define, build, and characterize physical prototypes of acoustic systems, and support prototype and production system factory builds remotely. Work directly with DSP and ANR engineers to tune and optimize system performance. Collaborate with acoustic test engineers to develop infrastructure for factory microphone tuning and calibration.
