In my time at Alchemyst Marketing, I helped improve the organizations e-commerce stores, warehouse processes, Google shopping activity and stock ordering. As part of a small team, this allowed be to strengthen my skills in other areas outside of digital marketing. Key projects within this role that I completed to the highest standard are;- Building & launching their new Shopify e-commerce store www.goodfood-company.com - A full audit of their warehouse management system, Linnworks, to ensure information was accurate and processes are put in place and followed to ensure efficient use of the system.- Implementing a Google shopping strategy to grow sales and online presence. Key responsibilities in this role include- Product uploading to e-commerce stores- Producing email content for email marketing campaigns- Website maintenance - Stock ordering, raising purchase orders, booking in stock- Data auditing - Control of warehouse processes - Warehouse management software maintenance- Google shopping management - Marketing planning, promotional calendars, management of website promotional windows

I joined The Toy Kings after I was approached for the role by the company director. The company was a start up company and I was part of the team who brought the company to market. Similar to my job role at Squizzas I was tasked with running the companies selling channels; website, eBay, Amazon & OnBuy. My official job title at The Toy Kings was E-Commerce Executive, however my role was far more diverse and not limited to E-Commerce as I am part of a small team and have sole responsibility of the company. Whilst at The Toy Kings, I was tasked with completing projects, that included; launching a website, Amazon & eBay stores, migrating the company from one e-commerce platform to another, integrating an e-commerce platform with a third party logistics warehouse. Other responsibilities includes; liaising with our Google Shopping partner, providing work for, and supporting our apprentice, analysing data or sale reports, breaking down costs of sales and cost of business. In this role I also procured stock to deliver value for money and make judgement based on sales history and inventory levels. I enjoyed aspects of the procurement process in the role and would be open to pursuing a career in this field.

At Squizzas, I was responsible for multiple websites that the company sold goods on. This includes product uploads, website design, API integrations and general maintenance. In addition to this I was responsible for starting, improving and maintaining the vast amount of software used by the company. This has led me to gain valuable experience using industry standard software such as; Shopify, Veeqo, Zendesk, & much more. With each platform I have a good knowledge on how they operate and how to use best practice. Working for a small company allowed me to learn different job roles as well as doing my own, this demonstrates that I can be a versatile team member and offer more to any given company. Different job roles at the company included customer service, warehouse work, stock management, stock purchasing and managing social media accounts. In my two years at Squizzas I progressed through the company, I started as an apprentice and became office manager. In this role I was able to excel my people skills and took on board managing new employees within the company. This experience was invaluable and allowed me to transfer these skills into any workplace. At Squizzas, I completed my Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship programme which was completed with JBC Skills Training and gained RITTech Status in a specialist area of Digital Marketing. My employment ended with Squizzas when I was approached by AGI Wholesale LTD for a job opportunity.

My role at granoVita largely revolved around the companies social media platforms. I regularly created content for social media posts, this included using industry standard software such as InDesign and Photoshop, whilst using Hootsuite to schedule the posts. In addition to this, I also had experience with using Mail Chimp when creating granoVita’s monthly newsletter. I have also gained valuable office experience whilst in this role; answering phone calls, being prompt with emails and using the franking machine. Due to the nature of my role I also spent time out of the office, to visit stores selling granoVita products and attending Trade Shows where granoVita would be pitching their products to the public.My employment ended with the company as they relocated our of the Northamptonshire area

I worked as a customer assistant part time, duties included, serving customers, stock control and “picking” for online shopping customers. My key role was within the petrol station team, where we worked closely in a small environment with 2 or 3 of us on shift at any one time. Health and Safety featured heavily in this role due to the risk associated with petrol and diesel. I believe this demonstrates my mature attitude. Tesco was a great place to work part time whilst I was in my second yeah studying for my level 3 BTEC in Business Studies.

I worked in the front-end department, duties included cash handling on the checkouts, facing up and constant customer interaction. I worked every evening during the week whilst at college. Other duties included working as a customer advisor in the kitchen department. I would actively approach customers and assist them with kitchen design and 3D modelling. I used various computer programs, liaised with colleagues in store, and at other stores, and answered customer enquires via telephone.I worked at B&Q in my first year of studying my Level 3 BTEC in Business Studies, however after a year I decided I wanted a new challenge and to broaden my work experience.

This was an eight-week placement in an office environment. My role included administrative duties, including filing, some computer work, and answering the telephone.

Over the Christmas period in 2015, I secured a temporary 8-week job at Sainsburys. Whilst at Sainsburys I was trained to work on the checkouts, and worked 9 shifts over the period, some were as short as 4 hours, whilst some were as long as 9 hours. Working at Sainsburys over the Christmas period proved that I could handle the pressure at busy times, and I picked up many skills, such as dealing with the public in all kinds of situations. I believe that I have learnt a lot about the world of work whilst at Sainsburys despite only being employed over Christmas.

I completed a week long work experience programme at school with Eady Signs (Kettering). When at Eady Signs I was tasked with all sorts of jobs and used my initiative when needed.
