I was asked to be the camp director for 2 new camps that the park district was developing, and pioneered them to be 2 of the most popular camps within the park district. This experience went far beyond that of a typical camp counselor and director, and required the development of a budget, full operations manual, regular interaction with parents of my campers and parents of prospective campers. Glencoe Beach offered me more experience and memories than I ever imagined it would :)
