I have been working within Residential Children’s Homes for over 6 years now. During this time I have gained invaluable experience across different roles, progressing from a Residential Support Worker to Registered Manager over a 4 year period. During this time, I successfully managed a 5 bed Children’s Home, registered for LD and EBD, to ‘GOOD’ - this was then maintained in the following inspection with another 'GOOD' where I was registered for half of the period, supporting from a Senior Management perspective for the other half alongside the new Registered Manager.Proven experience working with LD, ASD and EBD.I have now progressed to a more operational role as a Senior Business Development & Care Coordinator where my time is focused around company growth and organisational acquisitions; mainly the development of new projects. This includes, but is not limited to the purchasing of new properties and establishing them into operating children's homes ensuring they meet all compliance and guidance to become successfully registered. I enjoy working with, and supporting others in their roles whilst learning and developing myself. I am always open to further learning and gaining qualifications to better equip my skillset.
