Nurtured and improved Boeing’s relationship with the Air Force. Liaised between senior Air Force leadership and senior Boeing leadership to ensure Boeing business unit leaders and program managers clearly understood war fighter requirements.• Routinely met with senior Air Force leadership responsible for defining requirements and developing acquisition strategies for the procurement of new weapons systems. I served over 31 years in the USAF, retiring in the rank of Major General. As a command pilot and instructor, I logged over 2,650 flying hours in single seat fighter aircraft. I commanded at the squadron, group and wing level with tours in the CONUS, Europe and Pacific. In addition to my operational assignments, I served on the Air Staff, NATO Staff, Joint Staff, and as Inspector General of Pacific Air Forces. I culminated my Air Force career at Air Combat Command as the Director of Requirements, where I was responsible for the definition of operational requirements for the Combat Air Forces, and the oversight of 260 modernization programs.
