I assist the Legislative Staff in the Senate Minority Leadership Office, answering constituent phone calls and emails, assisting with Committee meetings with Legislators, and scheduling meetings for the Legislators in my office. I will also develop my legislative research skills and learn how to apply these concepts in my future experiences.

Interning for Chief of Staff for the Senate Minority Leadership Office, Becky Barnes. The internship focuses on legislative research and processes. This position allows me to network and learn from all of the senators within the Senate Minority Leadership Caucus and help them with their work.

As secretary to the Board, I prepare minutes for each meeting and present them to fellow Board members for voting. I can also vote on all issues and appointments.

Assisted the Board throughout my Senior Seminar project during my senior year of high school. I helped create live broadcasts interviewing several mental health professionals to help bring resources to my community. After my mandatory hours for the Senior Seminar project, I was elected to the Board.
