- Studied at Ormiston Maritime Academy from Year 7 up until year 9. -Chose to start a new pathway and decided to Join TAG (The Academy Grimsby) where I enrolled onto an Engineering pathway. Whilst at TAG I learnt a lot of skills and qualities to help me in the future. -Once finishing my time at TAG I left with with numerous GCSE’S and also some BTEC grades.-I had completed my BTEC Level 1 and 2 in engineering and passed these with a grade of a Distinction. I also completed CAD training alongside this.-Once I had these grades under my belt I was able to move onto HETA and carry on with my engineering pathway. -Whilst being at HETA, I completed Electrical wiring and testing, Bench fitting, Machining and Mechanical maintenance and finishing it all with a Distinction in my BTEC Level 3.-With these qualifications I was then able to Land my dream job as a CNC Machinist, my experience from school and HETA really helped me and gave me a head start into my new apprenticeship. -I am now currently doing my NVQ In Machining and hope to land myself a few more qualifications!
