With the success of CI build-up, he also expanded the serving area to other R/D & DVT / PQA teams.One of the major goals within the current team is protocol validation (SATA, AHCI, NVMe). It is not just scripting with existing tools like Vdbench or DriveMaster, but crafts original tools with embedded boards with U-Boot that has the whole access to hardware registers. Interoperability tests are created based on the required scenario with product firmware RD and ourselves and targeting to command sequence and power-on sequence of the corresponding protocol. It spots protocol issues and converges them promptly.He plays the role of software engineer and Release Owner and is responsible for firmware release and framework enhancement. Received Employee of the Year Award due to a series of enhancements that reduced 2/3 of the RD & shipping cost. Those projects have originally been kicked off by predecessors and then canceled because of unbeatable difficulties they were facing. Under the direction of Chia-Hsiang, the design concept was corrected leading to the success of implementation and adoption.
