Owned and operated business performing app development, AI/ML research and consulting, consulting and software development on EMR systems in Mental Health (Medinformatix), consulting and software development for university-based research programs. Current AI/ML work includes developing a world record breaking system for the ARC Challenge.At Mindware, I developed a major brain training app (Mind Games) with over 20 million downloads. Other popular apps include Night Owl: Sleep Coach, which is an app that I co-developed with a fellow clinical psychologist. Several of my apps have spent years in app store top-charts.I have consulted with mental health centers on an EMR system called Medinformatix. I developed many custom processes for this system.I consulted with university research programs developing computer-based programs for experimentation in the areas of aggression and self-aggression, as well as Alzheimer's and dementia research. These programs interfaced with equipment such as devices that produce electric shock, custom response boards (for use in fMRI machines), and EEG data collection.Skills utilized:Programming in a wide range of languages - Python, B4A, B4I, Visual Basic, C#, Javascript, Sencha Touch, Perl, PHP, HTML5, SQL Server, MySQL. Full stack applications from front end to back end. Back end servers include Microsoft Azure and dedicated Linux and various virtual servers. Developed extensive systems in Microsoft Access (e.g., a full EMR system) and Excel.Integrated psychology knowledge in the design of apps and processes. Interpersonal:Worked with teams, provided training, apps, and processes, worked with marketing, collaborated with representatives from Google and Amazon for strategic partnerships.In the more distant past, I ran an ISP for 15 years, computer sales and repair, and application development. Developed numerous custom programs that were used in production (in Turbo/Borland Pascal, Visual Basic, and Fortran).
