Project Lead and SPOC for various safety machinery upgrade projects to ensure compliance with the European Supply of Machinery Safety Directive. SPOC is a Single Point of Contact that acts as the liaison and coordinator of assigned projects between Pilz and the assigned customer and also ensures that the systematic lifecycle approach to Safety System Engineering is adhered to by the various team members.The lifecycle incorporates Risk Assessment, Safety Concept, Safety Design, System Implementation and Safety Validation.Day to day running of safety machinery upgrade projects including but not limited to organizing Health & Safety requirements, inductions, manpower, customer paper work requirements such as qualifications etc., contractor sourcing and appointment, purchasing and travel and accommodation needs.Preparation of cashflow, submission to the client and agreement of same with the client.Ensure the proper implementation of all cost and technical procedures and systems and provide training and information in those procedures and systems when required. Organise meetings with the client to ensure best cost and technical advice is provided at all times limiting risk exposure thus allowing informed decisions to be made. Responsible for day-to-day cost management, change management & cost control across projects.Ensure the management of Building, Flooring, Cleanroom, Mechanical, Sprinkler and Electrical Contractors and suppliers including procurement and adherence to budgets as agreed with the client.Ensure final account preparation, negotiation and agreement.Responsibility for regular internal financial reporting to management thereby ensuring that capital expenditure budgets are maintained.Liaising with the project management team, consultants, clients and third parties regularly to ensure the successful conclusion of projects in a cost effective and timely manner.
